[代码 Mode](/tools/code-mode) 仍处于实验阶段，默认情况下处于关闭状态。其实验室开关选择自动使用首选模型，而代理默认值可以继承或覆盖某个确切模型的选择。当处于活动状态时，代码模式可以像普通异步函数一样对待授权工具，让代理将对话、文件和会话的可信结果组合到一个程序中，或者一起运行独立的调用。这是最终的接口，而不是旧接口旁边的另一层，因此之前的 `tools` 对象、`ALL_TOOLS`、exact-ID 调用和原始调用信封都消失了。程序可以编写的内容仍然仅限于它被授权使用的工具以及这些工具声明的结构化结果。 [Tool Search](/tools) 在将自然请求转变为可发现的功能方面也做得更好，可以在一个结构化请求中搜索多个功能组，并且现在公开现有的会话存档和 pin 操作。策略仍然可以隐藏工具，并且没有有效答案的请求不会返回任何内容，而现有的单查询请求和响应形状继续工作。
